Beautiful Bridgewood Manor Wedding
Catherine & Russell reminisce:
How did your partner pop the question? Well it was quite a long engagement! I (Russell) popped the question to Catherine in 2008 at Ottolenghi in Islington.
What encouraged you to pick your wedding venue? There were quite a few reasons why we chose Bridgewood Manor for our wedding day. We already knew the venue, and it is set in a beautiful location. Bridgewood Manor is just a short drive from the registry office in Rochester, with on-site parking which is great. We chose to use The Hogarth Suite as this space was the perfect size to accommodate our guests.
What was the theme of your wedding? We didn’t really have one to be honest, it would be more in line with traditional theming.
How did your venue ensure everything ran smoothly in preparation for the big day? The planning process ran smoothly from start to finish with excellent communication throughout. There were no hidden costs or unexpected surprises. The events team provided lots of attention to detail with the planning and were really helpful when accommodating for any last-minute changes. They really went above and beyond to ensure the day was everything we had hoped for. Bridgewood Manor has a fantastic chef, and all the guests loved the food, even the fussy ones. Overall, the venue is a great choice with a wealth of facilities on offer at a great price.
Was your wedding day everything you could have hoped for? Absolutely!!!
Who was your photographer and why did you choose them? We chose not to have a photographer. Instead, we decided to crowdsource the photography and gave a short brief to all the guests. It worked out great especially as phone cameras are so good these days.
