Love at first sight at Horton Grange Country House
Amy & Tom knew instantly that Horton Grange was the perfect venue to host their special day
Amy & Tom reminisce:
How did Tom pop the question? Tom popped the question to myself whilst we were on holiday in Dubai. We had the best view from our rooftop balcony, looking over the sea. The sun was setting and Tom got down on one knee It was a total surprise and the timing was perfect!
What encouraged you to pick your wedding venue? Horton grange was the first and only wedding venue we visited. As soon as we walked inside, we just fell in love with it. It is such a beautiful venue with extremely welcoming staff. When leaving, we sat in the car and cancelled all the future appointments for other venues, as we knew we had found the one.
What was the theme of your wedding? Horton grange has gorgeous rustic décor, which creates a real warm, relaxed and homely atmosphere. We wanted a theme that was whimsical, and our colour scheme of baby pink and light blue complimented that perfectly.
How did your venue ensure everything ran smoothly in preparation for the big day? Our wedding co-ordinator Katie was absolutely fantastic. She was regularly in contact throughout our whole wedding planning experience. She offered great ideas from her previous experience working at Horton Grange which made planning our wedding stress free. We had regular meetings with Horton Grange and nothing was ever too much trouble.
Was your wedding day everything you could have hoped for? Our wedding day was everything that we could have hoped for and more. It was perfect from start to finish, and we were blessed with amazing weather on the day which was an added bonus. Everything also ran so perfectly.
Who was your photographer and why did you choose them?Our photographer was Stephen Beecroft. We met Stephen at an open night at Horton Grange where we got the pleasure of viewing some of his amazing work. He has a great personality and was very warming from the minute we met him. Stephen has worked at many weddings at Horton Grange and we knew that his experience would create beautiful photos of our day.
