When it came to choosing their wedding venue, Laura and Adam didn’t need to look far. Wanting to celebrate close to home in a place they could return to time and again,
The King’s Head quickly became the obvious choice.

How long were you looking for your wedding venue and what made you choose them?

When we decided to get married, we knew we wanted to get married where we live and somewhere we could visit again and again. The Kings head was an obvious choice & once we walked into the wedding venue part we just loved it. So much so, that it was the only venue we viewed. We have two little boys and we knew that we could really enjoy our day whilst knowing that everything could be all in one location. In addition with the roof top terrace, the neutral décor and relaxed setting we knew we could have the most perfect day there.

How did your venue assist in the planning for your big day and how was the overall planning experience?

Daisy absolutely made it for us – she was with us every step of the way, we didn’t have a long engagement and we knew what we wanted (& didn’t!) and Daisy helped bring our vision to life. We had a lovely complimentary food and wine tasting, numerous planning meetings and constant contact with the venue which meant it wasn’t stressful and we were made to feel so special.

On the big day, how did your wedding coordinator ensure all ran smoothly?

We had such a seamless day, Daisy kept us informed, on time and it was so stress free so we could enjoy every moment. She has such infectious energy and nothing was too much to ask of her.

Who was your wedding photographer and why did you choose them?

James Fear. Once you met him you’ll never forget him. He takes fantastic photos, has a charm like no other and made us feel so at ease. We knew as soon as we saw his photos that we wanted him to be our photographer and he didn’t disappoint!
