Fi & Isaac’s wedding at Silverholme Manor was a relaxed outdoor affair, overlooking the lake.

Fi & Isaac reminisce:

Can you tell me about your theme if you had one, the inspiration behind it and how you incorporated it into your wedding?

We didn’t have a theme as such, but we wanted the day to feel relaxed and laid back.  We did family style wedding breakfast and had a long drinks reception and canapés so nothing felt rushed. I (Fi) also love flowers and so wanted them to be a real focal point and they absolutely were.

What first drew you to your wedding venue?

The view!! The lookout over the Lake is just beautiful and we loved that you could get married outside.

What was the atmosphere like on the big day?

Relaxed with lots of laughs

How did your chosen venue go above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect?

Silverholme is a real blank canvas – which is why we loved it so much – you hire the house and then can do pretty much anything. The venue also recommended an amazing team of suppliers – including Special Event Tipis, Karen Rhodes Catering and Kindred Spirits and they just worked seamlessly together.

Who was your chosen Photographer and why did you choose them?

Jenny Jones – she did the photography at our friends’ weddings in Coniston a few years ago and we loved her natural style. She made us feel super comfortable on the day – it was like having a friend take the pics.

What was the most memorable part of your day?

The actual ceremony – we really wanted to get married outside and although it wasn’t a perfect weather day, we managed to do it. Afterwards we had a few minutes to ourselves to just chill in the house and take it all in and that was lovely.
