Your wedding reception meal will be your first together as a married couple, so we think it should be every bit as memorable as the rest of your day! We offer a range of wedding courses so you can pick the perfect food and drink to impress your guests. Six to Nine months before your wedding day your dedicated wedding coordinator will invite you both to a wedding day menu tasting where you will get to taste our wonderful dishes and select which menu you’d like on your special day. Our award-winning chefs are dedicated to making sure your menu is nothing short of perfect and delicious!
Here at Hensol Castle we have two enchanting options for your ceremony that exude character and historical splendor. Our Oak Room with arched windows and oak paneling is the perfect mixture of modern and stylish, whilst our bandstand is perfect if you opt to get married outdoors. With breathtaking views overlooking our lake, this option truly is picture perfect! Following your ceremony, our Courtyard Hall is the perfect room for your delicious wedding breakfast and reception. When getting married at Hensol Castle you have exclusive use for the day, complimentary gin miniature favours distilled at our on-site distillery, plus when all the excitement of the day has ended, you and your guests can rest your head in one our bespoke bedrooms. Hensol Castle is a spectacular venue, but we think we have an extra edge because of our onsite distillery, located in the cellars of our castle. More recently, we have had couples opt to hire the castle and distillery over a period of 2 + days so they can really spend time celebrating their nuptials with friends and family. From cocktail masterclasses to gin making, Hensol Castle Distillery offers the perfect accompanying activities to your wedding. We also offer hen and stag experiences, which we think are unique.
